NORTH EAST LINCOLNSHIRE UA, CROFT BAKER- 23RD JULY 2015

There was a sharp rise in support for the party in the Croft Baker ward in Lincolnshire in the ten weks since the General Election. The vote rose by 11.3% in the poll yesterday, up to 15.6%. These type of results are crucial for the party to ensure that we area at least the third party of British politics. UKIP were pushed into fourth place and their vote looks to be falling sharply in these eastern costal seats where they previously had some of their strongest support. In May’s vote the party slipped below third in many seats, however in the post 2015 by-elections we have seen a return to the situation prior to 2010 where a three party system operates. This bodes well for the 2016 local elections where, if current trends continue, a sharp rise in our support will be seen.
